July 12, 2013

Lee’s Summit residents interested in taking advantage of special discounts at this year’s Missouri State Fair in Sedalia are in luck.

Fairgoers can save on gate admission, carnival ride wristbands and tractor pull tickets during Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day Aug. 12.

Coupons are free and available at the Jackson County Farm Bureau office located at 208 N.W. Executive Way in Lee’s Summit. Coupons are not available on the fairgrounds and are only valid on Aug. 12.

Fairgoers are also encouraged to stop by the Farm Bureau building to drop their name in two contests.

“We have a lot to offer this year at the State Fair,” said Blake Hurst, Missouri Farm Bureau president. “There is so much to learn about agriculture at our building and elsewhere on the fairgrounds.
