Rattle and Hum Concert at Legacy Park Amphitheater August 17

August 14, 2013

Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation invites you to enjoy being under the stars with a lake side view of the “Premier U2 Tribute,” Rattle and Hum. Placing a priority on accurately delivering the sound of Ireland’s greatest export, Rattle and Hum is the U2 tribute most dedicated to making you feel as if you are experiencing the real U2 in concert. No other band can match Rattle and Hum’s passion and musicianship when it comes to performing U2’s vast catalog of songs, from their debut album ‘Boy’ in 1980 all the way to the present…well, except for U2 itself.

The concert is Aug. 17 at the Legacy Park Amphitheater. Gates open at 7 p.m. with the concert beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now through 5 p.m. on Aug. 17 for $5 each. Tickets may be purchased at Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation’s main office, Legacy Park Community Center, Harris Park Community Center or Gamber Center. At the gate tickets can be purchased for $7. Food and Beverage Vendors will be onsite. No pets or glass containers will be allowed inside the concert area. Legacy Park Amphitheater is located just south of the Legacy Park Community Center and the facilities share parking (901 NE Bluestem Drive, LSMO 64086).
