Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation offering Healthcare Provider CPR Course

Healthcare Provider CPR is for nurses, R.T.’s, P.T’s, physicians, nursing students and others with health care background age 18 and older. It will be held on 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 from and is $35 when registered by Sept. 10 ($39 after that with a deadline of Sept. 24). The course includes adult, child and infant one and two-rescuer skills, bag/valve/mask and AED. Skills are evaluated and a written test is administered. Upon successful completion, the two-year AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card is issued. Books are available for an additional $15.
