Neustrom named Top Doctor

Mark Neustrom, a specialist with Kansas City Allergy & Asthma who practices in Lee’s Summit, was recently named a 2013 US News & World Report/Castle Connolly Top Doctor.

Neustrom is a board-certified allergy, asthma and immunology physician. Kansas City Allergy & Asthma has provided services in Kansas City since 1979 and has offices in Overland Park and Olathe.

Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. is a healthcare research and information company. Its physician-led research team reviews and screens the credentials of tens of thousands of physicians each year who are nominated by their peers.

The physicians selected as Top Doctors are considered to be among the best in their respective medical specialties, selected on education, professional qualifications, board certification, residency, fellowships, hospital appointments and professional reputation.

Neustrom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Iowa State University, Ames. He received his D.O. degree at Des Moines University in 1983 and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Dakota. Neustrom completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He joined KCAA in 1994 and practices at its Overland Park and Lee’s Summit offices. His areas of interest include hereditary angioedema and eosinophilic esophogitis.
