Lead Bank announces Women in Business initiative

September 6, 2013

Lead Bank recently announced their latest and newest venture, the Women in Business initiative.

The initiative will provide business expertise and financial services to local, women-owned and women-run businesses.

“Our goal is to provide the right business resources and provide the best support for women in our community,” Lead Bank’s Cara Coy said in a press release. “We want to find any way possible to help them reach their full potential. I often speak to women business owners about resources available; most don’t know which source best fits their particular needs and where to start. That’s where Lead Bank comes in.”

Lead Bank’s Women in Business initiative will provide resources to women business owners and their staff, to include start-ups, established businesses and entrepreneurs, which will enhance their personal and professional brand as well as promote overall business growth.

The initiative also includes extensive financial advice and business consulting services provided by the advisors at Lead Bank and the Lead Business Advisors.

Access to capital is a major barrier with small businesses, therefore competitive financing options and access to capital is now available due to Lead Bank’s relationship with the Women’s Business Center and the Justine Peterson Organization.
