The Lee's Summit West High School Theatre Department recently presented a check for $700 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a non-profit organization fighting breast cancer. The Theatre Department hosted a Pink Out last spring at one performance of the school musical, "Legally Blonde." Donations were accepted at the door, and $1 from each ticket went to the Foundation. In addition, the Theatre Department sold pink-decorated cupcakes during the performance.
