$700 raised for Susan G. Komen

September 11, 2013

Sawyer Harmon, right, West Side Stage president, is pictured with Tiffani Kintchen, development and marketing director for Susan G. Komen of Kansas City. The Lee's Summit West High School Theatre Department recently presented a check for $700 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a non-profit organization fighting breast cancer. The Theatre Department hosted a Pink Out last spring at one performance of the school musical, "Legally Blonde." Donations were accepted at the door, and $1 from each ticket went to the Foundation. In addition, the Theatre Department sold pink-decorated cupcakes during the performance.
