Heavy load sinks into concrete

September 13, 2013

Buddy Caton, left, of Santa Fe Towing and Abraham Vazquez of ABC Supply Company inspect damage Sept. 11 after a trailer hauling nearly 45,000 pounds of shingles sunk into concrete in the 500 block of S.E. Second Street near the Ashbrooke Apartment complex in Lee’s Summit. Caton had to call for relief after his heavy-duty tow truck became dislodged in the concrete as well.
