LSWHS girls golf team gleans apples for Harvesters

The Lee’s Summit West High School girls golf team traveled to Independence Sept. 7 to glean apples. The team partnered with The Society of St. Andrews and endhunger.org. The community service opportunity was organized by Richard Myers, head coach. All apples collected were donated to Harvesters Community Food Network of Kansas City.
