In a deciding victory, Lee’s Summit North added another conference win to their belts against cross-town rivals Lee’s Summit Sept. 19 at Lee’s Summit North.

The Broncos lost only one singles match in the 8-1 win.

“Solid wins up an down the line-up,” Lee’s Summit North head coach Stuart Reece said. “(It was a) total team effort. We were able to get lots of kids some playing time and come away with the victory.”

The Tigers picked up their lone win in the No. 1 singles match as Tess Herder defeated Lee’s Summit North’s Logan Morrissey 6-0 and 6-2.

In the rest of the singles matches, Lee’s Summit North picked up wins. Camryn Parnell defeated Amelia Gooch 6-1 and 6-0, Vilune Sestokaite defeated Abby Cook 6-0 and 6-0, Alyson Moore defeated Maddie Huser 6-4 and 6-3, Jenny Krause defeated Dani Hudson 6-0 and 6-0 and Beta Lear defeated McKenzie Kramer 6-3 and 6-0.

The Broncos won all three doubles matches to seal the victory. Morrissey and Parnell defeated Herder and Gooch 6-2 and 6-2, Krause and Alexandra Mesias defeated Cook and Huser 6-1 and 6-1 and Sestokaite and Sarah Welsh defeated Hudson and Lindsey Mayberry 6-0 and 6-3.

With the win, Lee’s Summit North moves to a 5-1 overall record.
