BCMS staff are featured presenters at national conference

October 9, 2013

Nathan Miller and Jennifer Collier from Bernard Campbell Middle School were featured presenters at the 2013 National Southern Regional Education Board Conference, held this past summer in Charlotte, N.C. They shared a variety of professional development strategies at two different sessions. One session was a round table discussion including time for other educators to ask questions and dig deeper into the topic of professional development. During the second session, which was attended by nearly 200 school administrators and teachers, Miller and Collier provided ideas and resources to make professional development more meaningful and practical. Miller serves as the library media specialist at BCMS, and Collier is a BCMS teacher and University of Missouri mentor.
