Parking changes at LS Police Department

October 16, 2013

As a result of the ongoing construction and renovation project at the Lee’s Summit Police Department, the front parking lot for the police department and Lee’s Summit Municipal Court facility at 10 N.E. Tudor Rd. will be closed starting Oct. 18.

The temporary closure of the front parking lot, to allow contractors to quickly complete the asphalt renovation, is expected to last two to three weeks.

Parking will be available along Tudor Road as well as in the grass lot located south of Tudor Road. Handicapped parking and access will be located directly in front of the Police Department.

There will be signage directing those arriving at the facility. The construction is part of the police department upgrades made possible by a voter-approved 2010 no-tax increase bond issue.
