Party in Pink to benefit Susan G. Komen Oct. 19

October 18, 2013

Aspen Athletic Club in Lee’s Summit will hold a “Party in Pink” Zumbathon to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation this weekend.

The fundraiser is 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the club, 178 NW Oldham Parkway. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and 100 percent of proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Several Zumba-certified instructors will teach during the class period and non-members are welcome.

A number of prizes have been donated by local businesses for participants of the event. To gain an extra ticket for the prize drawings, participants can bring a bag of canned goods for City Union Mission to the Zumbathon. Each Aspen Athletic Center in the Kansas City area currently has a collection can at their location for canned goods throughout the holiday season.

Advance registration is available online at: https://aspenathleticclub
