PLMS teachers host 'Duck Dynasty' party

Pleasant Lea Middle School teachers Travis Payne (language arts) and Barb Green (math) hosted a “Duck Dynasty" Party after school on Oct. 11 for students on their teams. A total of 75 students attended. The event included “Duck Dynasty" trivia, refreshments (including iced tea) and viewing of a portion of one episode. Students attending also learned about the various ducks in Missouri. Allin's Taxidermy and Archery in Independence, owned by Green's father, provided the mounted ducks.
