James Edward Pruente

James Edward Pruente, 62, passed away Oct. 21, 2013. Jim was born Aug.1, 1951 to Ralph and Ann Pruente in Kansas City, Mo. and lived in Lee’s Summit since 1958 except the four years his family lived and worked in Eureka Springs, Ark. in the 1970s.

Jim enjoyed time with family, the outdoors and sporting events and was a proud member of Laborers Local No. 264 for more than 30 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Pruente; son Shane Pruente (Nancy) and grandchildren Connor, Aidan, Amberle and Teague; brothers, Ralph (Sue), Buster (April), Bob (Teresa), Bill (Debbie) and Roger (Nancy) and sisters, Mary Ann Corwin (Darrell), Susie Brown (Bob), Patty Hake and Kathleen Crane (Todd); three aunts, three uncles, 16 nieces, eight nephews, 22 greatnieces and 14 greatnephews and sister-in-law Patricia Elliot (Robie).
