Memory screening day Nov. 19

John Knox Village encourages everyone to be proactive when it comes to memory health. JKV is taking part in National Memory Screening Day and invites the community to take advantage of free, confidential memory screening and information.

National Memory Screening Day, from 2:30-5 p.m., Nov. 19, is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Screenings will take place at the John Knox Village Ambassador Room, 500 N.W. Murray Road, Lee’s Summit. Healthcare professionals will administer the private screenings which will include a series of questions and tasks which will take five to 10 minutes.

John Knox Village health care services including Village Home Health, Village Hospice and Village Helpers will have information available. Refreshments will be served. For more information call 816-347-2700.
