Cato Fashions celebrates grand opening in Summit Fair

Cato Fashions, a specialty retailer of value-priced women’s fashion apparel, jewelry, shoes and accessories, opened its newest store Oct. 31 at 840-J N.W. Blue Parkway inside Summit Fair Shopping Center.

Cato Fashions, a specialty retailer of value-priced women’s fashion apparel, jewelry, shoes and accessories, opened its newest store Oct. 31 in Lee’s Summit.

The store, which offers exclusive fashions in the newest styles, colors and fabrics in sizes 6 to 26 and girls’ sizes 8 to 16, is located at 840-J N.W. Blue Parkway inside Summit Fair Shopping Center at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Interstate 470.

“With exclusive styles, on-trend fashions and low prices every day, our customers can always find their statement of style while enjoying their shopping experience at Cato. We are excited about the opening of our new store in Lee’s Summit,” John Cato, chairman, president and CEO said in a press release.

Jennifer Beitling, of Raytown, will manage the new store.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Cato Corporation operates more than 1,200 stores in 32 states, including 34 Cato stores located throughout Missouri.

In other business news, Kansas City-based Topsy’s Popcorn has also opened a store at 880 N.W. Blue Parkway inside Summit Fair.
