Pie fundraiser a smash

Students at Cedar Creek Elementary celebrated a successful fall PTA fundraising campaign at an assembly Oct. 25. If students reached the goal of $20,000, top pledge earners at each grade level were able to throw cream pies at principal Jen Opie and physical-education teacher Ryan Miller. Cedar Creek students are raising money to go toward track on the school grounds to promote health and wellness within the school community.
