Dave Eames named new DLSMS Board Member

Dave Eames has been appointed to serve out the remainder of the term of former Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street board member Jet Pabst.

Eames, his wife, Kelly, a teacher at Lee’s Summit Elementary School, and their four kids are downtown Lee’s Summit residents.

Eames owns Fossil Forge Metalworks and Eames Design, also in downtown Lee’s Summit, where he spends his days as a graphic designer, sculptor, illustrator and all-around maker.

Eames grew up in Tulsa, Okla. He studied visual communications at the University of Kansas. He has worked at The Wichita Eagle and The Kansas City Star creating award-winning graphics, page design and illustration. Eames also enjoys working in the garden, sitting on the front porch, playing and watching sports, and road trips.

Eames has been a Downtown Main Street volunteer for many years and also serves as the co-chair of the Main Street Cultural Arts Committee and is a member of the Main Street Design Committee.
