November 13, 2013

Lee’s Summit CARES in cooperation with the R-7 School District is offering Parenting the Love and Logic Way from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 14 through Feb. 11 at Pleasant Lea Elementary School, 700 SW Persels.

The course includes an updated curriculum. Parents will learn fresh ideas for putting an end to arguing, whining and backtalk as well as helping their children learn to listen the first time. Love and Logic provides parents with practical and proven strategies for raising children who are respectful, responsible and fun to be around.

Cost is $42 per participant, and previous participants will pay just $10 for the new program manual. Scholarships are available to families who live within the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District boundaries.
