Silver Alert canceled after missing Lee’s Summit woman found

The Silver Alert issued Nov. 15 for a missing Lee’s Summit woman was lifted after the woman was found in Holt County, Neb. a day later.

According to Lee’s Summit Police and the Missouri Highway Patrol, 81-year-old Mercedes Bernarda Lednicky was found Nov. 16 in Holt County one day after she was last seen leaving a residence in the 300 block of N.W. O’Brien Road en route to Hobby Lobby at around 4:30 p.m. without her cell phone in her possession.

Police lifted the Silver Alert after Lednicky was located.
