‘Tis the season for giving

November 20, 2013

Trisha Drape, executive director of Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street Inc. and Dave Eames, an artist and DLSMS volunteer, put their wishes on The Giving Tree, in its second year downtown. Visitors are asked to put their hopes and wishes on the sculpture this holiday season, by picking up the free tags at participating merchants, writing down wishes thoughts or hopes. Tags are then placed in a box next to the sculpture and hung by Eames throughout the season.
