Local student contributes To UCM’s one-act series

With involvement from a local student, the University of Central Missouri’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present four one-act plays at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5-7.

David LeVota of Lone Jack is part of the cast and crew for the productions.

The student-directed one-act plays that will be presented in the Black Box Theatre in Nickerson Hall are “The Boor” by Anton Chekhov, “The Unknown Parts of the Ocean” by Sheri Wilner, “Rough for Theatre I” by Samuel Beckett, and “This Property is Condemned” by Tennessee Williams.

LeVota, son of Dave and Jeri LeVota, Lone Jack, is the director for the “Rough for Theatre I” production. He is a senior at UCM and a 2010 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School.
