Gamber Center hosting holiday celebration luncheon and lunch and a show

Join Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation for the annual and very popular event – the “Holiday Celebration Luncheon” at noon on Dec. 19. Enjoy good food and a festive atmosphere with live music from pianist Mary Ann Blasco. The menu includes chicken cordon bleu, party potatoes, vegetable medley, watergate salad, rolls & butter and assorted desserts. All for just $7. Register by Dec. 16.

And make sure to save the date for January’s Lunch and a Show featuring the Senior Barn Players. Guests can celebrate National Soup Month and enjoy “Radio Show” at noon on Jan. 9 at noon. For lunch, sample several soups and take home some great recipes. Fresh baked breads and pumpkin pie will also be served. Then stay tuned for the Senior Barn Players “Radio Show”. Revisit the days when radio humor was witty, funny and free from anything objectionable. Go down memory lane with Burns and Allen, Fibber McGee and Molly and other popular shows from that era. Lunch and a Show is just $10 (lunch only: $6, show only: $5). Make your reservations by Dec. 30.
