Seeing progress

December 18, 2013

SCA sophomore Holly Golden goes for a jump shot in the Eagle Invitational Tournament. The Summit Christian Academy girls’ basketball team recently placed fourth in the Eagle Invitational Tournament. The Eagles won the first round against Sherwood High School and lost in the second round to the Missouri Mavericks and then fell 45-32 in the battle for third place against Lutheran High. “Brooke Jacobsen played well throughout the tournament and our team showed great cohesion early on,” said SCA Girls’ Basketball Coach Danielle Van Dyke. “We learned a lot about ourselves and I know that we will continue to improve as the season progresses.”
