everybody

needs

a chance

to celebrate

and we

have been

given

permission

yet some say

you cant

celebrate

you dont

know

the reason

or the correct

reason

or the real

reason

translations of

you dont

my

reason

have no

permission

since

the celebration

belongs to

me

i own

the patent

hold the

control the

trademark

how dare you

use it

as excuse

but we thought

it remained

public domain

in everything

that without

which there

would be

nothing

no creation

only chaotic

darkness

it is the

energy

striking

all

light

focused

once

in a barn

born baby

sometime

enemy

of religion

and state

it still

shines on

transcending

continued

attempts

to privatize

so in this

season of

longest

nights

please

go ahead

and celebrate

you have

permission

even if

uncertain

why

you are

pregnant

with the

possibility

to deliver

a little
