LPCC’s 10th Birthday Bash Celebration & Community Health Fair Jan. 11

Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, will host Legacy Park Community Center’s 10th Birthday Bash Celebration and Community Health Fair on Jan. 11 at Legacy Park Community Center, 901 NE Bluestem Drive. The event is free and open to the public.

The Community Health Fair will be from 9 a.m.-11:30 am. Back by popular demand will be a Teddy Bear Check-Up Station. Encourage your children to bring in their favorite doll or animal for a full work-up to guarantee their good health for the new year.The fair consists of health information and free health screenings including Depression, Body Fat, Blood Pressure, Muscle Tension, Bone Density, and Visual Acuity, from area hospitals and health focused businesses.

LPCC’s Birthday Bash will feature being free to the public 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Guests can enjoy all the amenities in the facility plus take advantage of some special highlights including chair massages, visit from Mascots, face painting, balloon artists.
