Specialized diagnostic and surgical service is provided through TMC Lakewood’s surgery center located in Eastern Jackson County.

The Eastland Breast Center provides personalized medicine for patients in collaboration with physicians of The University of Kansas Cancer Center. Offered at the cancer center’s Lee Summit location, women have access to the region’s most advanced medical and radiation oncology services and nationally recognized cancer care, close to home.

In addition to diagnostic and imaging services, patients will have access to Breast Care Navigators. Navigators give breast cancer patients personalized assistance in coordinating care with their physicians; accessing and overcoming any potential barriers to care, providing educational resources and helping patients to be active, informed partners in their medical care.
