Lunch and a show Feb. 6

Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is hosting “Lunch and a Show” beginning at noon on Feb. 6 at the Gamber Center ,. The event’s menu will be: Fried Chicken, Green Beans, Potato Salad, Rolls and Cheesecake

Following lunch, the Senior Barn Players, a theater group that has been in existence for over 35 years will present “I Know When Well Enough Is Alone” about a hardworking housekeeper who gets a visit from her Fairy God Mother, a dog who gets changed into a person, a minister and a crazy pharmacist.

“Lunch and a Show” takes place at the Gamber Center located at 4 SE Independence Avenue, just off 291 Highway and Second Street in Lee’s Summit. The fee is just $10. If interested in just the show, the fee is $5 – just lunch, the fee is $6. Pre-registration and payment is required for lunch by Feb. 4. Call 816-969-1580 or email
