Vote for Forte

February 28, 2014

Dear Editor,

Diane Forte reflects the principles of Rotary in her daily life. She is constantly concerned about what is beneficial to all concerned in our community and in the region. This can be evidenced by her involvement in different aspects of our community. Her community service includes: Lee’s Summit Rotary, Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce Chair Emiritus, Oktoberfest, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, Lee’s Summit Economic Development Council, St Luke’s East Hospital Boo Ball and Lee’s Summit CARES Business Sector of the Community of Character.

She has prior political experience on the school board of Raymore-Peculiar School Board before moving to Raintree in 1995. She is a community-minded person who has a vision for economic development in our community grounded in what already exists. She believes our historic Downtown makes us unique from all the other communities our size. Diane states the Downtown area is vital to our community.

Diane focuses on Business Development, promotion of Small Business and development of big business, healthcare, and quality education. She is a strong advocate for the citizens and businesses of this community as well as the Lee’s Summit Parks Department and downtown Lee’s Summit. The women of Lee’s Summit Rotary are proud to call her one of us. She is a role model and continually reflects the principles of Rotary.
