Juanita Joann Butterbaugh

Juanita Joann Butterbaugh, 80, Greenwood, passed away March 9, 2014, at John Knox Village House. Mrs. Butterbaugh was born Feb. 20, 1934 in Aberdeen, S.D. Juanita was a sweet, kind-hearted, devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who put smiles on the faces of those who had the honor of knowing her. She loved attending her granddaughters’ school and sporting events, bowling, gardening, sewing and working puzzles. 

She lived in Neosho, Mo., graduated from Granby High School in 1953 before moving to Kansas City, Mo. where she worked for Luzier's Cosmetics until 1957, then Kansas City Life Insurance until 1959. In 1957, she married John Butterbaugh, moved to Greenwood, MO in 1961 and together opened the Butterbaugh Mobile Home Park. 

Juanita was preceded in death by husband John Butterbaugh, mother Barbara Johanson, father Harold Rose and brother Melvin Rose.

Survivors include son, Tim Butterbaugh of Greenwood, daughter, Connie and son in-law Mike Hisey of Pleasant Hill, Granddaughters Kimberly and Kristen and Great Granddaughter Kaitlyn.

Funeral Services and Visitation were held, March 11, 2014, Langsford Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
