Dannie Moody

Dannie Moody, 77 who has touched so many of our lives in such wonderful ways passed away quietly March 7, 2014. He was the Owner and Operator of ABC Tow/Specialty founded in 1986. Words cannot express the impact he has had on so many of our lives within the towing and surrounding communities. He was well respected by everyone that he knew. He was a loving devoted family man who was always there for his family and others in need. To many, he has been the father they didn’t have; the mentor we all needed and the example of integrity we can only hope to have.

He was survived by his wife Ardella Moody of 57 years. He leaves behind: two daughters, Debbie Johnson (David) and DeAnna Francisco, six grandchildren: Kelly Robinson (Jason), Christopher Johnson (Alicia), Corey Johnson (Shelby), Casey Johnson (Chandler), Cheyenne Francisco and Danielle Francisco. Four great grandchildren: Preston Robinson, Grace Porter, Beau Johnson, and Wyatt Johnson. Son-in-law: Jerry Barbee. Brother: Leverne Moody, LeRoy Moody Jr.

He was preceded by his parents, daughter: Danetta Barbee, and two sons: Dannie L. Moody Jr. and Jimmie L. Moody, sister Cherly Mossburg.

Visitation was held Tuesday evening at Langsford Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m., March 12 at Our Lady of the Presentation.
