Leading Ladies Women’s Conference

March 14, 2014 

The Lee’s Summit and Grandview Chambers of Commerce have once again partnered together for a conference focused on leadership, work-life balance and communication for the professional woman.

Keynote speakers include Anne Peterson, former KCTV-5 News Anchor; Amy McAnarney, Vice President of External Relations, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts; and LeAnn Carlson, Lauren’s Hope.

The Leading Ladies Women’s Conference is open to the public and is set for Wednesday, April 2 at The Aspen Room at The Stanley Historic Event Space from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost to attend is $75 for members and $100 for non-members.

Advanced registration is required and can be made by contacting Chrissy Symes, director of special events, at 816-524-2424. Deadline for registration is March 26.

11:30 a.m. - Registration/Vendor Showcase/Networking

Noon - Catered Lunch Sponsored by Saint Lukes East Hospital

12:30 p.m. - Presentation by Anne Peterson, Anne Peterson Productions and former KCTV-5 News Anchor

1:15-1:30 p.m. - Break

1:30 p.m. - Presentation by Amy McAnarney, Vice President of External Relations, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

2:15-2:25 p.m. - Break

2:25 p.m. - Presentation by LeAnn Carlson, Lauren’s Hope

3:10 p.m. - Closing Remarks

3:15-4 p.m. - Networking, Cocktails & hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Lee’s Summit Medical Center
