Lee’s Summit Chamber’s Excellence in Teaching surprise

Melinda Moylan, a third-grade teacher at Hazel Grove Elementary School, was one of 12 Lee’s Summit R-7 School District teachers scheduled for a surprise visit from members of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce during the annual Excellence in Teaching award tour March 20. Moylan and the other award winners are all finalists for the annual Teacher of the Year award, which will be announced next month.
