Summit Christian Academy junior Logan Kenepaske was undefeated and won first place at the Missouri State High School Activities Districts Speech and Debate tournament in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.

The event was held at William Chrisman High School in Independence. Logan will compete in LD at the state championship in April.

“I’m very proud of the way Logan rose to compete at Districts,” said SCA Secondary Principal and Director of Operations Emir Ruiz-Esparza. “LD is about persuading judges. To go undefeated is a testimony to Logan’s ability to build a case, deliver it, and defend it convincingly.”

“Logan approached Districts with ‘hot guns’ and was very focused. I am so please with what he was able to achieve,” said SCA Secondary Speech & Debate teacher and coach Anne Mussatti.
