Something unique for Lee’s Summit

March 26, 2014

Dear Editor,

Lee’s Summit lacks something that creates the spot to visit. Like St Louis’s Arch – Gateway to the west. Area wise Lee’s Summit is still the second largest town in the state. Therefore it needs something unique and deserving in order to compete and draw business here. There is a prospect of a Museum to the Future such in Louisville, Colorado (www.davinciinstitute.com) and their wonderful ideas. This would also benefit Lee’s Summit education and business (manufacturing and retail if it were located next to Summit Fair and Summit Technology. A good exposure to 470 Highway and easy exit. This idea has already been summited to the city.
