“Lunch and a Show” coming up April 3

Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is hosting “Lunch and a Show” at the Gamber Center on Thursday, April 3, beginning at noon. The event’s menu will be: Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Bread Sticks, Rolls and Cheesecake. Reservations for lunch must be made by noon on April 1.

Following lunch, the Senior Barn Players, a theater group that has been in existence for over 35 years will present “Best Buddies” about two couples who are longtime friends, go on a road trip and find that being cramped in a car all day brings out latent feelings about each other, will they end up friends by the end?

“Lunch and a Show” takes place at the Gamber Center located at 4 SE Independence Avenue, just off 291 Highway and 2nd Street in Lee’s Summit. The fee is just $10. If interested in just the show, the fee is $5 – just lunch, the fee is $6. Call 969-1580 or email pshepard@cityofls.net.
