CHARLES FREDERICK LINCK

Charles Frederick Linck, 75, Lee’s Summit, passed away March 27, 2014 at Village House. A Memorial service was held Monday, March 31, at John Knox Chapel, 400 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit.

Charles was born February 2, 1939 in Kansas City, son of George Frank and Helen Eleanor (Ege) Linck. He was active in the Greater Kansas City Arabian Horse Association. He retired from the Corps of Engineers. He served his country in the US Armed Forces from 1957-1959. Charles was a gun enthusiast and an avid collector of art and glass.

 He is survived by his wife of 51 years Marilyn (Patten) Linck; daughter Patty Mahan (John, Jr.) of Garden City, Mo.; two grandchildren Jennifer Garnett (Jeremy) and Ian Mahan; great-grandson Colby Augustus Garnett; brother Phil (Donna) Linck; nephews Raymond Linck (Tammy) and Robert Linck (Lindsay); and niece Becky Linck.
