Jeannine “Didi” Marie (Jansen) Vogl

Didi passed away March 22, 2014 at the home from Ocular Melanoma after a 13 month battle with the disease. She was 32 years old.

Jeannine, “Didi”, was in the Army National Guard for six years and served a year in Iraq as a radiological technician. She also worked at the VA Hospital in KCMO but resigned in 2012 to be an at home mother to her son, Jansen Lee, 22 months.

Didi is survived by her son; husband, Gabe Vogl of Independence; parents, Sherrie and Jerry Jansen, Independence (formerly of Lee’s Summit); in-laws John and Debbie Vogl of Marshall, Mo.; Charlie and Melinda Welch of Raytown; grandparents Glen and Ruth Mcdonald; Uncles Glenn Lyle Mcdonald and Robin Scott Mcdonald all of Lee’s Summit; Uncles Ronnie, Donnie, Herb Jansen; and Aunt Judy Clevenger of Lee’s Summit; Sister-in-laws and spouses, Janie and Scott Joling, Jessica and Mark Beatty, Heather and Aaron Hosack and Jacque and Jeremy McMurray; brother-in-law Zach Vogl, nieces and nephews, Trent, Elle, Evelyn, Wyatt, Brody, Jett and Henry, along with many other Aunts and Uncles.

Services were held March 27, at Abundant Life Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Phil Hopper.
