Olympic gold-medal swimmer Ryan Lochte was the center of attention during one of three clinics he conducted March 29 at the Lee’s Summit R-7 Aquatic Center. The clinics were a fund-raiser for Float for Hope, a program run by the school district which provides swim instruction for children in families dealing with financial hardships. Approximately 1,000 people attended the event, which raised nearly $14,000 for the program.
