Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park broke ground April 10 on its newest location a 2900 N.E. Independence in Lee’s Summit.
Many local dignitaries attended, including Lee’s Summit Mayor Randy Rhoads, Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce Chair of the Board Carolyn McKnight as well as Kansas City Royals mascot Sluggerrr.
Recently featured on the season finale of Under Cover Boss, Sky Zone bills itself as the original indoor trampoline park play experience for kids, teens and parents to jump, leap and defy gravity on their patented all-trampoline walled playing area.
“Open Jump” provides a format for guests to freestyle their moves and “The Foam Zone” allows jumpers to air it out into a giant foam pit.
“We’re very excited to be bringing the newest Sky Zone to the Missouri side of Kansas City and for me personally, this is very special as my wife and I consider Kansas City our second home,” Highley said in a statement. The group owns and operates multiple Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Parks including locations in Fort Myers and Tampa, Fla.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park will be available to individual guests as well as birthday parties, corporate team-building events, and fundraisers for churches, schools, camps and others.
