Happy 100th Birthday Irene Fortney

Irene Fortney is turning 100 Friday, April 11. She is having a celebration of her life at 10:30 a.m. on her birthday at the Lee’s Summit Point Health Care Center, 1501 SW 3rd with coffee and cake.

She retired from the real estate business, and worked at Unity Village as an Archivist in the Unity Village Library. She returned to real estate for a few years, then volunteered for many years at Park Lane Hospital in Raytown. She is a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Raytown, and also at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

She currently lives at Lee’s Summit Pointe Health Care Center at 1501 SW 3rd, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, 64081, if you would like to send her a card. Irene is still really alert and would love to see all of her old friends.

Irene and Ned had a loving family, which includes:

2 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
