Hughes signs with Truman

Summit Christian Academy senior Taurin Hughes signed a letter of intent April 16 to play basketball at Truman State Univeristy. Hughes, who broke SCA’s career scoring record while leading the Eagles to the Class 3 quarterfinals last season, will receive a full academic scholarship to the school. Sitting with Hughes are his mother, Tiffani, and his father, Danan. Standing behind him are SCA basketball coach Jake Kates and assistant basketball coach Dalton Vann.
