Rudolph to be honored May 8

Amy Rudolph, originally from Lee’s Summit, will be among 51 women to be honored May 8 at the 35th Annual Tribute to Women and Industry Awards Dinner sponsored by the YWCA Union County.

Rudolph, now a resident of Short Hill, N.J., serves as executive medical director of the critical care franchise fro Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in East Hanover.

Rudolph leads the serelaxin program in acute heart failurefor Novartis. She is responsible for all medical affairs activities developed and executed across a cross-functional team.

YWCA Union County’s Tribute to Women & Industry Award is a nationally-recognized honor for women.

Rudolph has been in the industry since 1991 and her previous work has included work on hypertension with Novartis and on atherosclerosis and stroke with Pfizer, Inc. She published 13 patents and numerous articles.
