Community of Character scholarship winners

The Business Sector of the Community of Character awarded four scholarships out of 41 applications for $750.00 to the Lee’s Summit R-7 High Schools and one other high school. The scholarships were awarded based upon the student’s essay regarding character development and their community involvement. The recipients are pictured above from left, Morgan Maxwell from Lee’s Summit High School, Logan Tootle from Lee’s Summit North High School, Taylor Shippy from Summit Christian Academy and Trevor Butler from Lee’s Summit West High School.
