R-7 middle schools recognize Students of the Month for May

Lee’s Summit R-7 School District middle schools recently recognized their May Students of the Month. Students of the month are recognized based on outstanding citizenship, conduct, attitude and school involvement.

Students of the Month from Bernard Campbell Middle School are Ally Banks and Parker Anderson. At BCMS, Ally has been involved in student council, student ambassador, concert choir, orchestra, school play and mustang smart. Away from school she enjoys theatre and dance. She has been listed on the principal’s honor roll. At BCMS, Parker is involved in cross country, basketball and track. Away from school he enjoys basketball and road races. He has been listed on the principal’s honor roll.

Students of the Month from Pleasant Lea Middle School are Jordan Thomas and J. T. Cornelius. At PLMS, Jordan is involved in track, volleyball and broadcasting video production. Away from school, Jordan enjoys volleyball and reading. She has been listed on the principal’s honor roll. At PLMS, J. T. is involved in track. Away from school, J. T. enjoys Boy Scouts. He has been listed on the honor roll.

Students of the Month from Summit Lakes Middle School are Bailey Bergen and Malachi Butler. At PLMS, Bailey is involved in cheerleading, broadcasting and the awards show. Away from school, Bailey enjoys cheerleading and her church. She has been listed on the principal’s honor roll. At SLMS, Malachi is involved in choir, football, basketball and track. Away from school, Malachi enjoys fishing, music, reading, football and basketball. He has been listed on the honor roll.
