Summit Christian Academy recently announced that second-grade student Nevaeh Cox and fifth-grade student Mackenzie Madsen have each received the Christian Character Award for the elementary school.

The award honors students who demonstrate honesty, integrity, respect, consistent spiritual attitudes, and superior academic achievement each quarter. Awardees are carefully selected by their teachers and are presented with a certificate and a $25 gift card to Mardel Christian Bookstore.

Only those students who consistently lead in the areas of personal and academic achievement receive the recognition.
