June 6, 2014

Plan to kick off the summer during the annual Downtown Days…Streets Alive! festival, June 6-8, spanning six blocks in the historic and award-winning Downtown Lee’s Summit central business district. Live entertainment, food vendors, a new carnival, a white tiger exhibit, craft vendors, a car show, a fashion show, 810 Sports Zone, the KCBS-sanctioned Smokin’ on the Summit BBQ competition and much more all are part of this year’s festivities. Festival hours are from noon to 10 p.m. June 6; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 7; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 8.

For more than 20 years, Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street has been hosting a family- friendly festival in the heart of Downtown Lee’s Summit.
