Tigers invade downtown LS

June 6, 2014

A Royal White Tiger Discovery Exhibit will be one of several new attractions this year during the annual Downtown Days Street Festival sponsored by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street. Downtown Days run June 6-8 and features live music, food, games, carnival rides and more, including exhibition of three white Bengal Tigers named Gita, the mother, and one-year-old siblings Kadar, a male, and Vinita, a female from All Things Wild Zoo in Dallas. There will be a $3 charge to view the tigers.

Lee's Summit Journal is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
