Kristine Wright and Michelle Brunell, owners of the Home Instead Senior Care office serving parts of eastern Jackson County, including Lee’s Summit, celebrated 10 years of service to area seniors and their families.
Members of the community were invited to help Wright and Brunell and their staff members celebrate the milestone during an open house May 7 at the Home Instead Senior Care office located at 233 S.E. Main Street in Lee’s Summit.
Home Instead Senior Care helps seniors who want to remain in their homes as they age by providing home helper, personal and Alzheimer’s/dementia care. The local company was founded in April 2004 as part of a franchise network.
“We started this business, because we think it’s important for seniors and their families to have options when it comes to their long-term care,” Wright said in a statement. “We are very proud of the service we have provided over the past ten years and look forward to helping many more seniors remain safely in their homes as they age.”
