FBI seeks public’s help in Lee’s Summit bank robbery

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for the robbery of U.S. Bank located inside of Price Chopper Grocery store at 300 S.W. Blue Parkway in Lee’s Summit.

According to a press release from the FBI’s Kansas City division at approximately 6:12 p.m. June 18 a lone male provided a bank teller with a demand note. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a dark complexion, approximately 5-foot, 10-inches tall with a slim build, wearing a dark winter cap, dark clothing and sunglasses.
